Winchester Repeating Arms Company contracted with Sears, Roebuck and Co. to build the Model 100, a 30-30 lever-action rifle similar to the Winchester Model 94, from the 1950s through the 1970sSears also called the rifle the Model 54. Starting in 1961, Sears morphed the J.C. Higgins brand into the Ted Williams brand. The Ted Williams Model 100 rifle was a version of the Winchester Model 94 that was endorsed by baseball great Ted Williams. Sears stopped selling firearms in 1973.
